Barker is currently at the Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles, where he is receiving treatment for second- and third-degree burns.
“I am doing the best I can possibly be. I’m so anxious to get out of here,” the 32-year-old drummer said. “I was in Georgia at the hospital over there and was scared to death to even get on an airplane again, so I had Shanna and my father come out and meet me and we took a bus back to L.A. I’ve just been in surgery after surgery. I have third-degree burns basically from my feet up to my waist and both hands. One of my hands has second-degree burns and one has third-degree burns.”

Peder Seglund Hits: It’s Britney Spears’ Night At The VMAs, While Kanye West Ends The Show With A Bang
Britney won her first (and second, and third) Moonman, the Jonas Brothers flooded the fake streets of New York with screaming fans, Pink tossed a dude down a flight of steps, Weezy nearly lost his pants and host Russell Brand told a bunch of jokes you’re probably still trying to untangle, which, we can assure you, were very, very, very dirty. It was a historic night for rehabbing pop star Britney Spears, who not only picked up the first VMA of her career, but capped her hat trick with the ultimate prize: Video of the Year.

While cracking the books at Pepperdine University, Texas-bred Crawford tried his hand at acting. In 2006, he got his first big break in The Covenant – one of those scary movies with beautiful people. But he didn’t gain fame until playing preppy hunk Nate Archibald on Gossip Girl, where he created sexual tension between himself and costars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester.
With fame came romance, as Crawford played coy about his relationship with country music’s Carrie Underwood. In 2008, after Underwood confirmed their split, Crawford – with his Gossip Girl costars – landed on PEOPLE’s Most Beautiful List.

Peder Seglund Hits: “T-Pain is a really cool guy, so I enjoyed the whole process,” she told MTV News on the set of the video. “I just wanted to make it a bit easier, ‘cause the Fantasy Ride is a world of fantasy and fun. There’s just so many different worlds I want to take my fans.”
T-Pain had mutual love for Ciara. “The record came together basically with me and Ciara working for days in the studio, and we got pressured to … make a song,” he said. “The one we finished was ‘Go Girl.’ We had a lot of fun. She was dancing. I was trying to dance as good as her!”
Ciara is preaching control on the song and in her professional life. The 22-year-old singer took the reins as the album’s executive producer, getting everyone from Ne-Yo to Missy Elliott to Young Jeezy to make cameos. “I have a song with Missy, and it’s crazy and out of this world,” she said. “The energy is to the 10th power again.”

Two new singles by Beyoncé premiered on the radio Wednesday (October 8) in advance of the November 18 release of her upcoming album, I Am … . One is the dance track “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and the other is a more introspective ballad called “If I Were a Boy” — two songs that represent two different sides of the singer, as she suggested in a letter to fans last week.
The singer recently opened up to Essence magazine about some of the influences on the album, which include hubby Jay-Z and playing Etta James in the movie “Cadillac Records.”
B recorded 60 to 70 songs for the album (only 10 made the cut), but 40 of them turned out to be about love, she said. “There’s a balance,” she told the magazine. Meaning the love is reciprocated? “Yeah,” she giggled. “Definitely.”
While “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” acts sonically as a sequel to “Get Me Bodied,” “If I Were a Boy” is unlike anything Beyoncé has done before. “It’s broad,” she told Essence. “But I had to try it, because I remember Aretha Franklin said a great singer can sing anything and make it her own.”
